Pharma Direct:
Pharmacy Direct is a premier Courier Service Pharmacy that
has been in operation for the past ten years and since its inception proven to
be a major and leading role player in the dispensing and delivery of chronic
medication.
From January 2004 Pharmacy Direct has been appointed as the
Designated Service Provider (DSP) for a number of Medical Schemes. Under this
appointment we supply chronic medication to patients under the Prescribed Minimum
Benefit (PMB) regulations.In addition we also provide medication under the
normal chronic benefit designed by Schemes. Pharmacy Direct is also currently
the biggest provider in the private market of Anti-retroviral Therapy to
patients living with HIV/Aids.
Pharmacy Direct also provides medication that is not
approved as chronic medication and that is considered to be acute medication

Springbok pharmacy:
Springbok Pharmacy was established in 1963 by Mannie Gien and was
situated in the main road (Voortrekker) in the centre of Alberton. In 1979 the
pharmacy moved to larger premises, also in Voortrekker Rd, next to the Alberton
Mall (it's current location). In 1983 Mannie was joined by Kenny Baker and in
1985 the pharmacy moved into the Alberton Mall.
Over the years the pharmacy continued to expand in size as more space became
available in the centre. Soon further expansion will commence and the pharmacy
will increase in size by a further 1400 sq. metres.
Currently the pharmacy is situated on two levels and employs in excess of 140
staff members. In addition to the 9 qualified pharmacists, there are
specialised personnel in the departments of Homeopathy & Natural Remedies,
Supplements for Sportsmen, Fragrances & Cosmetics, Primary Health Care
Clinic Services & Family Planning, Incontinence Products & aids for the
handicapped.
With 20 delivery vehicles on the road daily we offer a free delivery service
